Lannen wins in a landslide
My prediction held true, with the incumbent winning more than 87% of the vote.
Never one to pass up an opportunity to say, “I told you so,” I recently wrote that Carroll ISD incumbent Eric Lannen would win re-election to Place 2 by more than 80% of the vote. And he did, with 87% of the vote.
Candidly, I’m shocked the margin wasn’t higher given his opponent’s lack of visible campaigning and the fact that she is largely an unknown. She deserves credit, though, for being willing to step up and run for office. Two new members will join Lannen on the board as well: Dudley Jordan takes over Place 1, the spot formerly held by Michelle Moore; Christy Stacy replaces Sheri Mills in Place 3. All three will be sworn in later this month.
